Giving young people the
support they need

Every young person who enters our homes receives outstanding care. They’re loved and looked after so they can grow up to be the best version of themselves.

When you contact us, the first thing we’ll do is decide whether our home is suitable for the child. It wouldn’t be right to accept someone into an environment that’s unable to meet their needs. It often does more harm than good in the long run.

If we feel our home isn’t the best place for them, we’ll refer you to somewhere better suited. Otherwise, we’ll start discussing the timescales for the child’s placement with you.

We appreciate how important speed is in these situations and do everything we can to help the process move as swiftly as possible.

The placing authority should return a completed referral form accompanied by the documents listed below. We cannot accept a placement without these documents.

Exceptional Circumstances

We’ll take a young person into our care immediately at the request of local authorities should their placement elsewhere suddenly break down. Our team will then create a holistic care plan within 10 days and send it over to the relevant authorities.

We appreciate that people go through changes as they grow up, and they can be difficult to process. Our staff are trained to deal with the whole spectrum of behaviours, including challenging anti-social conduct. They’ll be in safe hands.
