Certified by Ofsted as an outstanding care provider, Evoke Care partners with local authorities to make sure every young person gets the love, care and attention they need.
Each of our homes gives young people a stable, comfortable environment that nurtures their well-being. And each home goes above and beyond the standard specification, featuring state-of-the-art entertainment systems, high-speed WiFi, games rooms and spacious gardens.
Our specialist teams know how to deal with every behaviour. They lead with compassion and know what to do to comfort someone who is overwhelmed.
We’ll work with you to create a care plan tailored to the child’s specific needs. The package aims to meet the outcomes laid out in the UK Government’s Helping Children to Achieve More Act (formerly Every Child Matters).
Aside from our care homes, we also offer other services, including therapy, assessments and consultancy. These services not only help children and young people improve their lives but benefit the broader community too.
Together, we can tackle the rising care needs in this country and make sure every child is cared for and loved.
Child exploitation and missing-from-home incidents have been reduced greatly thanks to our risk management plans which help staff identify, manage and reduce young people’s triggers for risk-taking behaviour. The staff know how to sensitively manage children’s triggers and help them stay safe.
We also work closely with the police to keep children safe. And we’ve established a clear debriefing process which is adjusted for each child’s needs. This includes seeking appropriate therapeutic support to make sure the child isn’t left traumatised by an event and doesn’t repeat the risk-taking behaviour that left them vulnerable.
We celebrate diversity in all its forms. We recognise the sense of identity, pride and empowerment that someone’s culture, gender, orientation, race or religion gives them. And we strive to celebrate our collective differences at all times.
People are free to be their true selves. Last year we helped a transgender child feel comfortable and helped family members understand and accept their new identity.
Every year we celebrate Black History Month by throwing parties. Staff and residents celebrate with friends and family members. It’s a highlight of the year for everyone.
People of faith are encouraged to continue their practice while with us. And, where possible, we make sure they attend their place of worship regularly.
Whoever you are, you’re accepted and celebrated at Evoke.
