Help end the care crisis

The number of children in care is rising and local authorities are struggling to meet the needs of looked after children across the country.

Young people taken into care have usually experienced traumatic events in their past. If these emotional issues aren’t resolved they show up later in life as behavioural troubles. At their worst, these issues contribute to mental health and relationship issues.

We don’t let that happen.

Rated as an outstanding provider by Ofsted, the highest award there is, Evoke Care gives vulnerable young people the skills and support they need to live happy, productive lives.

Reducing child exploitation and missing-from-home incidents

Child exploitation and missing-from-home incidents have been reduced greatly thanks to our risk management plans which help staff identify, manage and reduce young people’s triggers for risk-taking behaviour. The staff know how to sensitively manage children’s triggers and help them stay safe.

We also work closely with the police to keep children safe. And we’ve established a clear debriefing process which is adjusted for each child’s needs. This includes seeking appropriate therapeutic support to make sure the child isn’t left traumatised by an event and doesn’t repeat the risk-taking behaviour that left them vulnerable.

Transform your community

Our relationship-oriented approach is radically different from the norm. Why? Because we replicate the parent-child relationship using love, respect and a healthy set of expectations to bring out the best in people.

Focused on meeting each child’s specific needs, our specialist team pay equal attention to emotional health as they do physical well-being. Our therapeutic care helps them make sense of traumatic events and move past them. With our help, they resolve their issues and reclaim control of their emotions.

Young people who enter our care with challenging behaviour leave with a healthy respect for themselves and others. They mature into smart, responsible adults who understand the value of giving back to the community. They work hard and they’re a pleasure to know.

With your help, we can help more young people change the course of their lives.
